Marmoleum is a vinyl floor covering made of natural linoleum, designed and manufactured using 100% green electricity. It is made of linseed oil, which comes from the flax plant seeds, wood flour as production waste from controlled forestry plantations, and jute, a crop whose fibers provide the material for the membrane onto which the linoleum is calendered.
It is a natural antibacterial material and resistant to cigarette burns. In its solid version in a roll, the Marmoleum is calendered in two layers with a substrate made of jute, ensuring scratch resistance up to 0,08mm and a totally smooth surface.
Marmoleum is treated with Topshield2 which provides great ease of maintenance and eradicates the need for refurbishment over time.
