Standing proudly on Agias Sofias Street, the former Balkan Europe Hotel—a listed neoclassical treasure built in 1925—has been gracefully reimagined as the new headquarters of Eurobank. This transformation, led by the visionary architects of Urban Soul Project, pays homage to the building’s rich past while shaping a sophisticated, contemporary work environment across five thoughtfully designed floors.
Preserving the original plasterwork and wooden windows, the architectural team masterfully intertwined classic elegance with modern needs. At the heart of the building, the central semicircular staircase anchors a layout defined by symmetry, flowing lines, and soft arches—architectural gestures that echo throughout the space in the curved ceilings and refined lighting.
In this dialogue between eras, materials and systems were chosen to serve both form and function. The flooring, crafted in woven vinyl by 2tec2, adds tactile depth and architectural coherence. Carefully integrated within the open-plan layout, Framery acoustic booths offer moments of privacy and focus, without disrupting the natural flow of the space.
A defining element of the interiors is the presence of inmind’s DLA partition system—a minimalist and elegant solution that subtly organizes work zones while preserving light, transparency, and visual harmony. Its clean aluminum structure and linear expression elevate the workspace with a refined simplicity.
Furnishings by PlusHalle, Viccarbe, and Tacchini complete the spatial narrative with sculptural silhouettes and rich materials—adding warmth, poise, and a human touch to the architectural composition.
