Creating Flo, Karim Rashid was inspired by sound waves and digital data. Rashid believes that people today live in a digital world and attempt to design elements inspired by the environment and the elements of nature creates the necessary balance. Flo sound-absorbing panels can be installed sequentially or in sections in different ways. Placed in a horizontal position, the pattern creates the sense of water movement, and vertically could be described as a light wave.
